EPiCYouth Ministry

Epic Youth GroupEPiC Student Ministry is the student ministry branch of First Baptist Church of Lepanto.  We meet for worship every Wednesday night and have other events such as 5th Quarters, DNows, camps, and other activities throughout the year. Come worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with us every Sunday morning at 9:30 am and 5:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Lepanto, AR.

EPiC is ‘E’ngaged in our local church, our community, and the world. We are ‘P’urposed to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with our community and throughout the world. Finally, we are committed to living “in Christ” as we prayerfully endeavor to work out our faith in Him. In a world searching for truth, EPiC Student Ministries stands firm on the Word of God as our basis for truth, and Jesus Christ our Lord, the only means by which we, fallen man, may be reconciled to God.

EPiC Student Ministry seeks one overarching goal: Seeing Students Committed to Christ and the Local Church.

To do this, we have three areas of emphasis.

  • We are Word Centered
    1. Our teaching is focused on Scripture, not morality or entertainment
    2. We aim to make disciples
    3. We prepare students to defend their faith
  • We are Church Focused
    1. Students should be part of the local church, not our own little church within the church
    2. We involve students in the ministry of the church
    3. We seek to connect youth to men and women faithfully following Christ within the church
  • We are Family Oriented
    1. Our goal is to strengthen families, not stress or separate them
    2. We support the parents in their role as the primary disciple-makers of their students
    3. We equip parents to disciple their children
