God’s New Life Mission Bible Training Center
March 29, 2010 | Leave a Comment
Tonight, our worship service was turned over to God’s New Life Mission Bible Training Center, a residential, christian, discipleship program from Marked Tree, AR. The Director of the program, Gary Still, explained what the God’s New Life program is and how it assists in changing the lives of the residents who have chosen to participate in the 8 to 10 month program. The mission at Marked Tree is one of 15 centers throughout the United States. They were founded in Norma, New Jersey in 1969 as a part of Mission Teens and are growing more every year. They are a faith-based, non-profit organization which depends on donations from churches and individuals and the Marked Tree center receives monthly donations from FBC Lepanto as well as several local Christians who feel that they can make a difference in the lives of those residents whom are trying to help themselves in such a Christian environment. Tonight’s service also includes several performances of music and poetry as well as testimonies from some of the residents which were a blessing to our hearts and quite inspirational. We apologize for the quality of the sound in tonight’s podcast due to technical difficulties, but we felt that the content made it worth publishing anyway.
Help for the desperate,
for those willing to seek God
for the answers to life’s problems.

Godcast #193 - One Cry Away: Cody Brown

Mark 10:46-52 One Cry Away
Cody Brown - Youth Minister
Andrew Chandler - Worship Leader
If anyone needs any proof that God is moving and that revival is underway in the city of Lepanto, Arkansas, all you need to do is listen to this EPiC Youth-led worship service from this past Sunday evening, March 21, 2010. After a wonderful call to worship by our guest worship leader, Andrew Chandler from Williams Baptist College, our speaker for the evening, FBC Lepanto Youth Minister Cody Brown, also of Williams Baptist College, provides us with a powerful, emotional message which recalls the story of Blind Bartimaeus crying out to Jesus to restore his sight. He uses this illustration to point out that we are all only one cry away from eternal life and a relationship with the LORD. A highlight of the service was when the youth presented poster boards where they had written who they used to be on one side and what God has done for them on the other. Cody then asked anyone in the congregation to come down and do the same thing. The service is introduced and concluded by FBC Lepanto’s Pastor, Anthony P. Langley.
