FBCLA Godcast We were blessed at our Homecoming Celebration, to have as a guest speaker Eddie Boon. He is a deacon at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee where he leads the Centurions for Christ program. He really touched everyone’s heart as he spoke of three of our recently departed members of our church family, how they lived their lives as Christians and how they affected us as a result.

Let It Be Known

Daniel 3:12-18

Bro. Jim continues his series of sermons on Daniel with this message on Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego being cast into the fiery furnace. While in the furnace, they were accompanied by a fourth person who was the Son of God in a pre-incarnate body. He protected them, allowing the fire to only burn off their shackles. When they came out, they didn’t even have the smell of smoke on their clothes. Just as they told Nebuchadnezzar “let it be known that we would not bow down and serve your god”, we should consider want it is that we would want to be known about God.

This is the first message, given during the Sunday School portion of Sunday’s worship service. Visit the Arkansas Faith & Ethics website: http://afec.org/index.htm
