Proverbs 29:2 Favor or Funeral? Bro. Jim poses the question, Favor or Funeral? as he uses Proverbs 29:2 as an example of how the presence of righteousness in our leaders can lead to our nation obtaining favor from God. Whereas if we have leaders who are wicked, the people groan as if they are at a funeral and God shows them no favor due to their wicked ways. He describes our nation as being in a crisis of leadership and shows us that we often elect leaders in order for them to enact laws which we desire instead of electing people who put righteousness before their personal agendas and display a Godly character.
