Day 5 - Tuesday, July 10, 2007 11:10 PM:
July 11, 2007 |
We had a great day today. We had 6 additional kids at our bible club. It went great. The kids had a blast and got to hear about Jesus. We got to do a little relaxing today. We went out in the country, to one of Palmer Bible’s family’s house. Waaaay back in a pasture goes to a river where we got to play, cook out, and play a pretty cool bean-bag tossing game where Tanner Ponders and I DOMINATED. Don’t listen to anything Duffel says about his bean-bag greatness!
But the day only got better. We were all so tired …but God gave us another boost of energy so that we could finish up our survey work in Palmer. We had some wonderful visits. The last two houses that Hannah, Taylor, and I visited were a couple of the best witnessing opportunities I’ve had in a while. These folks are, for the most part, so gracious. The last lady I witnessed to didn’t accept Christ, but understood the gospel. Please pray for Vicki Macintosh, and that God works on her heart and removes whatever obstacle might be keeping her from surrendering to Christ. It was just a great day to serve the Lord. The folks at Palmer Bible Fellowship are very gracious and so excited to reach out to their community.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) we’ll hold our final bible club and have a community-wide worship at the same time. Pray that God brings revival on Palmer, NE.
All for Him,
