Something for Everyone
Ministries and Bible Study
EPiC Student Ministry is the student ministry branch of First Baptist Church of Lepanto. We meet for worship every Wednesday night and have other events such as 5th Quarters, DNows, camps, and other activities throughout the year.
First Baptist cares about children. We offer a complete children’s ministry comprised of Sunday morning Bible classes for all ages, children’s church during the worship time, and Wednesday evening activities.
Music is an integral part of worship, especially as the church gathers together. The music ministry of FBC-Lepanto provides the music for our weekly services and special events.
First Baptist is committed to the faithful study of Scripture in small groups. Each Sunday, classes of all ages gather for a time of Bible Study at 9:30.This is an important part of the discipling of our members.
The Bible commands men to be the spiritual leaders in their community, church, and home. To help men learn to lead, First Baptist offers men’s events throughout the year.
First Baptist is in the process of developing a comprehensive women’s ministry. We currently offer occasionally Bible Studies just for women and other events, like paint parties.
First Baptist has an active senior adult ministry. Each month, our senior adults have an outing or a potluck (usually during the colder months).
First Baptist is committed to missions.Fifteen percent of our offerings go straight to mission causes outside the church, including the cooperative program of the SBC and other mission agencies that reach out for Christ around Arkansas and the World. We also have designated times of giving through Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong offerings for missions. We have led our association in giving to these offerings over the last few years. We also seek to be missionaries to our community and the world through local mission opportunities and trips around the country and even overseas. We are committed to see the gospel to the ends of the Earth!
First Baptist knows how to put on an event. Several times a year we have block parties or picnics at the church and recently at the local park. These events include food, fun and games for the kids (including inflatables), sometimes music, and fellowship. These events offer opportunities for the community to come and be introduced to our church family. We use these events to minister to those who come and invite them to church, pray for their needs, and just get to know new people. We have plenty of jobs in which you can participate at these events and would love to see you come and set-up, cook, or serve!
